Sons of God, Trough Christ, Deliverance Ministries INc. State or Tenets of Faith(Article 111 – Bylaws)…..

  1. Sons of God: believe in one God – The Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit (The Holy Trinity) … (Genesis 1: 2b; 1:26; John 1: 1 -2; John 14:26)
  2. Sons of God: believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, written by inspired men and women of God and is the basis for all Christian doctrine. It’s the known revealed Word of God and is the power of God unto salvation. (2 Timothy 3:15; 2 Peter 1:21)
  3. Sons of God: believe & receives the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ – the only begotten Son of God, was born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus – ‘The Christ’ came: was crucified – He died, was buried and had been resurrected.  He ascended into heaven and is now seated on the right hand of God the Father.   (Luke 1:32-35; Jn 3: 16; Mark 15 & 16).
  4. Sons of God: believe Sons are given divine power by Christ: As many as receive and believe in the name of Jesus (believe in Jesus), being led by the Spirit of God, are given power to become Sons & Daughters of God performing the ‘Greater Works’. (St John 1:12; St John 14: 12; Romans 8:14; Act 1:8)
  5. Sons of God: believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; that repentance of sin through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ is necessary for the forgiveness of sins. We also believe that Christ will made provisions of eternal life for His own. (Romans 3:23; 6:23; John 14:3)
  6. Sons of God: believe in water baptism by immersion for a believer. This ordinance is a symbol to the world the believer’s faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ; the believer is ‘dead’ to sin and takes on a new life in Jesus to walk in the newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:17; Acts 2:4; Act 8: 37)
  7. Sons of God: believe & partake in the Lords Supper, an ordinance of the church; it symbolizes the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ as the new covenant between God and Man. (1 Corinthians 11:23-28; Matt. 26: 26 – 29)
  8. Sons of God: believe in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, an evidence of the infilling of the Spirit or baptism by the Spirit (Acts 2:1- 4; Act 1: 5). Christians become indwell with the Spirit of Christ the moment they believe, repent & receive Christ (Rev. 3: 20; Acts 2:38). An indwelling & infilling may occur concurrently (Act 19: 1 – 6; Act 8: 14 – 17) The gifts of the spirit operate as being manifested or demonstrated in the ’born again’ believer of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1st Cor 12:7; Acts 2:1 – 4; Jn 20:22; Rom 8:9;). There are diversities of gifts, differences of administration & diversities of operations. The manifestation of the spirit is given to every man to profit likewise (1st Cor. 12: 4 – 7)
  9. Sons of God: believe that – Christ is the head of the Church; the spirit of Christ is the governing and ruling force of the true Church of Jesus Christ and cannot assume second place. Christ is the Chief Shepherd and Bishop of the Church; upon his rock is the Church built (1st Pet. 2: 25; Ephesians 5: 23; Col. 1:18; Matt. 16: 16 & 18).
  10. Sons of God: believe in the resurrection of the just and return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe the Church will experience the rapture (in the first resurrection); we believe that Christ is coming back for the Church as He promised & of the blessed hope (Acts 24:15; 1 Thess. 4: 14 -17; 1 Cor 15: 51 – 58; Rev. 20:6; Titus 2: 13)
  11. Sons of God believe in the – Christening or blessing of babies; such gesture is not baptism (Mark 10:16)
  12. Sons of God believe that marriage is between a man & woman in accordance with the Word of God; the Church accepts everyone who needs deliverance and salvation regardless of their ‘orientation’ and choice to live; everyone is loved with the love of the Lord who died for all and condemned not the world (Genesis 1: 27 – 28; Romans 1: 24 – 28; Jn 3:16 -17)
  13. Sons of God believe in the Deliverance from demonic possessions and those that causes diseases or infirmities. (Matt. 8: 28 – 34; Luke 17: 11 – 19; Matt 8: 17; Isaiah 53: 4 – 5; Matt. 11: 4 – 6; Luke 4: 18; Isa. 61: 1 & 3; James 5: 13 – 16)
  14. 13. Sons of God worship on Sundays – the first day of the week; this had been ordained by God for worship from the Old Testament times; on the 1st Day of the Week Christ. Our Lord and Savior was resurrected and met with his disciples who were all together on the first day of the week (The first Church) (Exodus 12: 16; John 20: 19)
